The Myclass Board health portal update has begun recently. The medical anomalies, allergies & all the important health concern issues are updated in our digital campus health portal including the daily walk in information of that particular child & the treatment given is been sent to the parents.
The school infirmary is equipped with the basic materials and facilities to address the health needs of learners while in school. An on- site trained and qualified nurse is available to manage and assess any health issues that may arise during school hours. Our school nurse is a trained pediatric nurse having a vast experience in dealing with pediatric emergencies and has worked in casualty, emergency pediatrics, ICUs and Neo-natal ICU. She has worked abroad for more than a decade.
Our nurse’s services expand to the following domains:
- Attends to learners who are injured or who become ill while at school, administers first-aid and other emergency nursing measures, and arranges for medical attention (by coordinating with hospitals, first-aid services and other medical facilities) where the circumstances indicate.
- Confers with teachers, learners and parents regarding management of identified health problems and also provides advice on nutrition, rest and relaxation, communicable diseases and home healthcare.
- Excludes and re-admits sick learners in accordance with existing school health regulations and policies.
- Maintains accurate and updated health records of all learners with confidentiality and care.
Glendale also organizes an Annual General Health check-up, Dental check-up and Eye check-up.
In case of emergency, students are immediately sent to Dr. Badar Shaik MBBS; DCH; PALS (9959970999) at Shifa Hospital which is hardly 3 mins from the school.
