Teaching Methods Backed By Neuroscience

About Brain Compatible Learning
"Brain compatible learning," coined by Leslie Hart is an interdisciplinary approach to learning based on how the brain learns best & is based on extensive neuroscience research.

At its core, Brain Compatible Learning relies on the proven hypothesis that “emotions drive attention and attention drives learning." Brain compatible learning provides empirical data about how the brain learns and suggests guidelines to be considered while preparing lessons for your students. These guidelines may be incorporated into every educational setting, with every type of curriculum and every age group.

Brain Compatible Learning At Glendale
At Glendale Education, we have incorporated Brain Compatible Learning at every step of students' learning journey. Our Director of Education, Ms. Anjum Babukhan, is one of the leading voices in the development and adoption of this methodology.

Her book 'ABCs of Brain Compatible Learning' has broken Brain Compatible Learning into an easily usable framework with global best practices to be followed while teaching students. It is a collection of the key principles that have been suggested by  eminent educationists such as Dr. Howard Gardner and Eric Jensen. It is an arrangement of the actionable knowledge in an alphabetical format for easy reference, in addition to a number of suggestions to show how the ideas can be put to use in a classroom or at home with children.
